April 10th, 2021 CofC Art Club Spring Showcase
The last show I would undertake as acting president of the club. Again, it was a submission based, covid-cautious show. We accepted around ten artists with about 17 works total. Now this time I was prepared for the outdoor setting, using the tables and easels that the Redux Contemporary Art Center supplied again.
October 24th, 2020 CofC Art Club Fall Showcase
Amidst a new in-person semester at the College of Charleston, I took the opportunity to rally student artists and friends of the club to hold a Covid-cautious show. Like the last show, it was submission based and had rounds of jurying to select the best and most representative works from the club for the show. The new venue also introduced a challenge of working outside and acquiring the equipment to hang the work.
Janaury 10th, 2020 CofC Art Club Winter Showcase
Curated and showcased my art in my first show as club president of the College of Charleston Visual Arts Club. With the help of my friend Matthew Keady, as juror, we were able to hold a successful show, featuring young artists from the school of the arts and the club, with mediums consisting of paintings, prints, and photography.
November 9th, 2019 The Last Tapp Show
Organized by my friend Marcus McDonald, founder/CEO of Adessoent, he gave me a solid space to present, curate, and showcase my work among many other visual artists, along with musicians and performers at the Tapps Art Center in Columbia SC for the last show to be ever held in the building. I gained an experience for curating future shows and made many great connections and acquaintances with my fellow contemporaries.
October 5th, 2019 GreenHaus September Showcase: Memories
In the fall of my junior year of college I joined an art collective of young student artists in Charleston. Being held at my friends house, my prints were jurored and accepted into the show. This would be one of the many shows I attended and showed work in for the rest of 2019.
